Orphanage Mehan Orphanage

Marzia comes from a remote village of Takhar province.  Her father had two wives with 12 children. Her father didn’t care about her, because she was not born a baby boy. He did not have money to support a big family. So, before he brought his little Marzia to the orphanage, she sold chewing gum on the street with her little hand begging for money for her family. When she came to the orphanage, her life totally changed. She joined Afghanistan National Institute of music and now she is playing Viola. She is very happy in the orphanage.
